Here at The Traditional Company we can design, manufacture, supply and install Metal Gates all over the UK. These range from Entrance Gates to Kissing Gates and from Field Gates to Pedestrian Gates. Our gates are handmade in our metal workshop using only quality materials to ensure that our products meet our high standards. The metal gates are durable and can withstand any weather conditions while lasting for years to come. Our gates can be designed exactly to your needs and we will normally carry out a site visit to see what your requirements are, we are able to recreate an existing design you may have or design a gate to your specification.
Entrance gates
Entrance Gates are the first impression people have of your house and should you wish to appear understated or extravagant we’re sure we can supply you with a gate to match your style. This photo shows our Stamford Gates which have been installed in Oxfordshire. With our Entrance gates you can choose to have them motorised or manual opening. They can be installed by either mounting them from brick walls / pillars or using by using one of our many styles of gate posts.
Pedestrian gates
Our pedestrian gates are designed to complement our fencing perfectly. They can be installed either in the fence line or separately such as in between two hedges. Like our estate fencing, our gates can be painted to any colour you require. Our gates come with a sliding latch as standard but can be fitted with a rising latch. As you can see in this photo the client picked green to so that it didn’t detract from the scenery sounding his house.
Field gates
Field gates come in various shapes and sizes. They can be used as understated entrance gates or be used as an access for a field. These are designed and manufactured to fit in with our Estate Fencing. They are fitted with a sliding lockable latch which is simple to use.
Kissing Gates
A Kissing Gate is a type of gate that we hang in a U-shaped enclosure to only allow one person through at a time. These are usually installed to keep livestock from passing through, whilst maintaining pedestrian access.
Ornamental gates
Our Bespoke Ornamental Gates can be as grand or as simple as you require. They can be designed to match the Architectural Heritage of your property and if you have existing gates, we are able to replicate them. A site visit will enable us to take accurate dimensions of the existing gate.
