Premium and versatile

Legacy 3 Steel Lawn Edging is a premium product, offering strong and flexible metal edging. This type of traditional steel lawn edging is an attractive and practical solution to keep your lawn edges and garden borders neat and tidy. This strong edging is made from Solid UK steel and can be bent on-site to follow curves with radiuses down to 1m.

Manufactured in the UK, our Legacy metal lawn edging comes in options of 3mm, 5mm or 6mm thickness. The 3mm option is the product of choice for most garden lawns and borders, with the 5mm being ideal for heavier trackways and paths while the 6mm version is suitable for complex garden designs and high traffic driveways.

The Perfect Garden Lawn Edging

Edging creates a clean separation between different areas of your garden, lawn, flowerbeds, paths and driveways. It’s a low maintenance and long-lasting solution designed to stop the movement of gravel and wood chips by edging the lawn with a clearly defined border.

A great feature of using solid steel garden edging is that isn’t affected by the elements, so it doesn’t become brittle with cold weather or rot. The edging can be bent to any shape you require and there are no unsightly bolt heads or lap joints visible on the open face of the edging.

The lawn trim is available in either mild steel, galvanised or corten steel and in a variety of thicknesses and heights for all requirements. Our metal edging for borders is a cost-effective way of keeping your garden looking great.

We can either supply your chosen edging in kit form for self-installation or it can be installed by our skilled craftsmen who travel all over the country.

Lawn Edging Specifications

Legacy edging comes in a minimum length of 3 metres. It’s available with a thickness of 5mm or 6mm, suitable for driveways and other heavy traffic areas. Alternatively, our 3mm version is suitable for general lawn edging and where a tighter radius is required.

We offer 2 standard heights: 100mm and 150mm. Ideally up to half of the vertical face should be underground, so if you want to see 75mm above ground, go for the 150mm version. Other sizes are available, as well as corten, mild steel and galvanised steel versions.

Our unique interlocking system creates a continuous length of edging, which easily forms straight lines and acute angles, as well as sweeping elegant curves. Legacy steel edging installation is simple, using only a handful of standard tools. All joints and support pins are hidden behind the edging to leave a completely flush visual face.

To help you create the right shapes, we manufacture 90-degree corners. While our lengths come in 3m lengths as standard, lengths can be cut and a joint plate used to create a bespoke option that fits your exact requirements. For more intricate installations we can pre-bend our edging.

Unlike many other garden edging options, Legacy Edging is made from solid steel. This is most often left to weather naturally, though we can offer a painting service if required.

For larger orders, please call our office, as we can supply some of our lawn edging products in 6m lengths.

Lawn Edging Installation

In addition to supplying on a self-fit basis, we can offer full installation of your lawn edging. Our teams of skilled craftsmen have years of experience in the erection of traditional steel garden edging and work throughout the UK.

Galvanised Steel Edging

Galvanised steel edging stands out for its robustness, rendering it an excellent fit for high-traffic zones and multi-level garden layouts. Found in Legacy 5 and Legacy 6, it’s engineered to resist corrosion and weathering, making it the top pick for wetter environments.
