Bespoke Iron Fencing
Any cast iron or wrought iron that you may already have is replicated by The Traditional Company using mild steel. We can fabricate in panel form or can produce bespoke fences that need welding and painting on site. Either option provides a solid, attractive and durable fence that will last for well over 60 years. The Traditional Company is able to match the colour of existing ironwork. Often the best approach is to re-paint the whole fence to pull the old and new elements of the fenceline together.
The Traditional Company are able to manufacture and supply Estate fencing throughout the United Kingdom. Our workshop in Rutland is well positioned to deliver Estate fencing using a variety of shipping methods cost effectively.
Bespoke Estate Fencing – If you are already have existing Traditional Parkland Fencing and require more of the same we offer a bespoke matching service. We are able to carry out a site visit and carefully measure your existing railings. The workshop will then fabricate the same estate fence from new materials – ensuring the rail spacings and steel dimensions match your existing. In this way fencelines can seemessly flow from old to new. This bespoke service can also include other decorative ironwork – including bespoke gates , fans and end posts.
For smaller runs of less than 50 metres estate fencing deliveries are made using a palletline service. Rails are cut to 3 metre lengths, and a triple pallet service is used. For Estate Fencing orders over 50m deliveries are made by lorry – rails are 6m long. It is important to discuss access at time of ordering to ensure someone is around to unload using a forklift or handball off.

We have a fence!!
Our boundary between next door and us was in a sorry state. There was an old rusty dangerous fence scattered all along and then patchworked together with wire and plastic… ivy overgrown and the lime trees in an overgrown sorry state…
But nooowwww we have such clean fresh line with beautiful estate fence, welded and painted on sight thanks to @thetraditionalco We absolutely love it!!
We now need to collect all the bricks, dead wood and leaves etc… rake it all over and seed to the line of the trees to get the grass back. We will then have the lime trees tidied up properly in the autumn once the birds have vacated… it for now it’s just perfect!!
