About Us
Experts within the traditional estate fencing and bespoke fabrication industry
The Traditional Company has made architectural metalwork in Leicestershire for more than ten years. British-made and classically styled, our estate fencing, garden edging, ironwork, and railings can be seen on estates across the country.
Our reputation is built on providing a personal service, and we’re proud to say that most of our business comes via referrals from customers who are happy to recommend us.
Over the last ten years, we’ve built up an impressive list of clients, from private individuals and estate managers to developers, builders, and some of the country’s best landscapers and garden designers. Our customers, like us, are passionate about preserving Britain’s architectural heritage with metalwork individually crafted by hand.
Our services
Traditional Estate Fencing
Traditional estate fencing is the first choice for landowners, property developers, and landscape architects looking for an alternative to rail-and-post fences. Made in the UK by skilled craftsmen, classic estate fencing gracefully follows the contours of the land, adding security and value to a property.
Lawn & Driveway Edging
Steel lawn and driveway edging creates a clear boundary between different areas, levels, and materials in your garden, making it easier to look after your property. Made from solid steel, Legacy Edging is strong, durable, and flexible enough to follow the contours of your garden and driveway.
Garden Ironwork
Our garden ironwork is popular with landscape architects, garden designers, and property owners. From fixed structural pieces like rose arches to decorative steel planters and troughs, every piece is individually crafted to celebrate Britain’s architectural heritage.
Gates
Our metal gates are made from British steel to the highest standards, adding security and value to your property. We can supply entrance gates, pedestrian gates, and field gates in any size or colour. Our gates can be individually crafted to meet your requirements or made to fit our estate fencing.
Iron Railings
The railings around your property are the first thing people see when they visit. Made to order in the UK by skilled craftsmen, our town railings make a stylish impact. Solid metal railings and entrance gates will add prestige to your property, whether it’s your home or business.
Bespoke Fabrication
Made from British steel to your unique specification, our architectural metalwork is expertly crafted at our fabrication workshop in Leicestershire. We offer bespoke sculptural, structural and decorative garden ironwork in classic designs that will last for generations and add value to your property.
