As a traditional gate manufacturing company, we supply several bespoke metal field gates, including metal field gates with pedestrian access. Each of these will provide a seamless look to your fence line or estate entrance.
Our bespoke metal gates are supplied primed, painted and ready to install. Each gate mirrors the exact design of the parkland fence, with rails flowing in line with the traditional iron railings you already have installed or have ready to install.
Our estate gates are fitted with a sliding lockable latch, which is easy to use. When you approach us for a quote all of our gates are quoted including gate posts ensuring there are no hidden additional costs.
These metal gates can be used in many different ways, one of the most popular ways is to use our gates as driveway gates, metal driveway gates add additional security to your property and look fantastic, providing the ultimate grand entrance.
Traditional Estate Gates
The Traditional Company manufactures, supplies and installs metal gates that can be used as field gates, estate fencing gates, parkland gates and traditional driveway gates.
Our team can design your new metal gates bespoke to your specification and we supply and install metal entrance gates UK wide. All of our metal gates are handmade in our workshop using only quality materials, ensuring our products are high quality, durable and can withstand any weather conditions.
Diamond Estate Gates
Our Diamond Estate Gates feature a classic design with the option of either scrolls or shepherds crooks as top rail detailing. All of our metal parkland gates are handmade in our workshop using quality materials and manufactured to exacting standards.
Gates can be manufactured as singles or as double gates. They are available in 1.0m, 1.2m, 1.8m, 3.0m, 3.3m and 3.6m sizes and can be made 1 or 1.2m high. They are supplied with round gate posts, which can come with either round cast iron finials or our cast iron Rutland tops. All of our gates can be manufactured for automation if required.
Quadrant Estate Gates
Our Quadrant Estate Gates provide the same classic design as our Diamond gates but have more central detailing. These gates are very popular for use as driveway or entrance gates, coming highly recommended by our customers.
These gates are handmade in our workshop to exacting standards, using only quality materials. Just as with our Diamond Estate Gates, your Quadrant Gates can be manufactured as singles or double. They are also available in 1.0m, 1.2m, 1.8m, 3.0m, 3.3m and 3.6m sizes and can be made 1 or 1.2m high.
They are supplied with round gate posts, which can come with either round cast iron finials or our cast iron Rutland Tops. We can manufacture these gates for automation if required.

We have a fence!!
Our boundary between next door and us was in a sorry state. There was an old rusty dangerous fence scattered all along and then patchworked together with wire and plastic… ivy overgrown and the lime trees in an overgrown sorry state…
But nooowwww we have such clean fresh line with beautiful estate fence, welded and painted on sight thanks to @thetraditionalco We absolutely love it!!
We now need to collect all the bricks, dead wood and leaves etc… rake it all over and seed to the line of the trees to get the grass back. We will then have the lime trees tidied up properly in the autumn once the birds have vacated… it for now it’s just perfect!!

A Norfolk Country House Restoration
As part of the wider restoration of this beautiful Norfolk country estate, we worked closely with Will Draper Garden Design to deliver a range of bespoke features, including Burghley Estate Fencing, Gates, Rose Arch Walkways, a Domed Structure and, completing the project, a large bespoke Arbour. Designed to complement the surrounding landscape.
Bespoke Steel Tree Seat: Designed Around Nature
A bespoke steel tree seat, designed around nature. When an existing customer approached The Traditional Company with a unique seating request, our team worked closely with her to create a backless tree seat tailored to the tree, the space and her vision.
Bespoke Vertical Screens for County Garden Management
We collaborated with County Garden Management to manufacture bespoke vertical screens for a garden project in Essex, designed to soften a large brick wall and enhance the overall space. Fabricated in-house at our Leicestershire facility, the screens were created from detailed technical drawings and will naturally develop a rich, weathered patina within a few months, blending seamlessly into the landscape.
