Our Southern team have recently installed Iron Railings in Kensington. The client wanted us to match the existing railings that they already had and replace the wooden trellis that was mounted on the high wall.
With our own Fabrication unit based at our head office in Leicestershire we are able to make Iron Railings to your bespoke requirements, including matching original railings you may already have onsite. The fabrication team made the 2 meter panels and they were primed and powder coated before being sent directly to the team for installation.
The original wooden trellis running along the top of the brick wall, that the client previously had was removed first. Each end post of the panel had 3 concrete bolts that would hold the panel onto the brick wall. The team drilled into the wall and it was held in place with a masonry bolts.

The railings are strong alternative to the wooden trellis and will last for years to come. Not only do they add value to your property but our Town Railings offer an important security aspect. In total we installed 82 meters of railings.
The Traditional Iron Railings were finished in black to match what the client already had but we are able to paint your railings in variety of colours. Traditionally in the early nineteenth century invisible greens were the popular choice as it allowed the railings to blend into the natural background. Other popular colours were dark blue, red and chocolate brown. At the moment our most popular colour is black which stems from when Prince Albert died in 1861 and out of respect doors, window frames and railings were all painted black.

Our Traditional Iron Railings can be finished with a multitude of different finials to fully personalise your property. Every order is different and all our products are made specifically to clients orders. We work closely with our customers and after an initial site visit to measure up and inspect where you would like the installation, we can produce customers drawings. Our vertical railings are bespoke to your requirements and made to measure to fit your site. They are normally delivered to you in 2 meter panels and once assembled blend seamlessly together. Once installed the railings are painted to your chosen colour.
