Our Traditional Iron Railings are all bespoke and we manufacture to our clients exact specifications. The client here, in Gloucestershire wanted a hand rail leading down the steps and a barrier surrounding the top to protect from the drop below.
We will first conduct a site visit to decide what is best, then measurements are taken so the Fabrication team, based in Leicestershire can create and hand make the panels ready for installation. We are also able to follow original designs or produce drawings if required.
The stone masons on site installed the posts with Martin and one of our Southern teams, headed up by Dom installed the panels between the posts. Traditionally the method is to drill the rails into coping stones, this is a time consuming but precision task which leaves a seamless and elegant town railing.
The railings were finished in black but traditionally other popular colours were dark blue, red and chocolate brown. As the railings are bespoke to you we are able to paint in your preferred colour.
We are really pleased with how the railings look, they are a solid, long lasting solution that will not rot or become brittle in the elements.
