Our team recently completed an Estate Fencing installation in Hemel Hempstead, enhancing both the security and visual appeal of a private residential property.
The project involved installing estate fencing along the length of the gravel driveway, creating a defined and secure boundary leading up to the property. In addition, we installed a matching pedestrian gate to provide convenient access while maintaining a consistent and elegant appearance.
The fencing was carefully designed to follow the natural curves of the boundary, running seamlessly from the existing entrance gate through to the main property. As estate fencing is supplied loose to site, each section was individually positioned and installed by hand. This approach allows our installation team to precisely align the panels with the contours of the land, ensuring a smooth flowing finish that complements the landscape.
All posts were securely set to create a strong and durable barrier, providing long-term reliability without compromising on style. The finished result delivers a secure perimeter solution that enhances the property’s character while maintaining open visibility across the grounds.
A bespoke pedestrian gate was incorporated into the design to provide convenient access from the driveway into the adjoining parkland. Each gate is handcrafted at our fabrication unit in Leicestershire and manufactured to the client’s exact size requirements, ensuring a precise fit and a high-quality finish. The gate is delivered to site alongside the loose estate fencing, with matching horizontal rails to create a seamless and cohesive appearance across the entire boundary line.
In addition to bespoke designs, we also offer a range of standard estate gates, which can be manufactured as either single-leaf or double-leaf configurations depending on the required access width. Our pedestrian gates are available in standard widths of 1.0m, 1.2m, and 1.5m, with height options of 1.0m or 1.2m to complement the surrounding fencing.
All gates are supplied with robust 75mm end posts for strength and longevity. Clients can choose between a classic round cast iron finial or our distinctive cast iron Rutland Tops (as seen here) to further enhance the traditional estate aesthetic. As standard, our manual gates are fitted with a smooth-operating sliding latch; however, gates can also be prepared or fully manufactured for automation where controlled access is required.
