We have installed Estate Fencing at a number of Wedding Venues around the country but one of the first was at Hill Place in Swanmore, Hampshire. The clients had been looking into replacing the existing wooden fence that was falling apart and had been there for many years. They wanted something in keeping with the property that would not obstruct from the view. When the couple took the venue over, they found remnants of the original steel fence that was previously there and started looking into companies to use.

Why did they pick The Traditional Company?
They chose us because not only were we competitive on price, but we understood the client’s needs, requirements and end goal. We had a site visit with the owners and grounds team to discuss the location and what would work best. The original fence was removed by the staff on the estate to keep the costs down and we installed 300m of our Burghley Estate Fencing, 3 gates and a decorative fan.

The Traditional Estate Fencing is perfect for their parkland setting as it does not obstruct or detract from the view. Hill Place is set within 20 acres and has views through the surrounding apple orchards. The purpose of the fence was not only to keep the horses enclosed in the park but also to form a perimeter for the main house and grounds. Our Steel Fence is strong and will not only last for years to come but blends beautifully into the background of wedding photos.

The client wanted a pedestrian gate that could be locked with access to the park. This was installed to blend discreetly with the fence lines. Two larger Quadrant Gates were installed, one giving access to the field used as a car park and the other centralised from the house giving access to the park for tractors. The decorative fan was installed to prevent anyone falling into the ha-ha. The Estate Fencing runs alongside the impressive oak lined driveway and flows into the grounds. Our Steel Tree Guards were also supplied to prevent the horses and deer damaging the trees. The Tree Guards can be supplied to you anywhere in the UK, they are simple to install yourself or our skilled team can do this for you. It was a real pleasure catching up with the owners whilst recently visiting Hill Place. Our Estate Fencing is a perfect addition that compliments this stunning property.
