Recently one of our Southern Installation teams were in East Sussex to install 80 meters of 1.8m high Traditional Deer Estate Fencing surrounding a vegetable garden.
The client found us via our website and got in touch. A site visit was carried out by one of our Directors where measurements were taken. The Steel fence was to replace the existing post and wire mesh surrounding the customers large vegetable garden. The fence needed to prevent the local Muntjac and Roe Deer from getting to the vegetables and also prevent rabbits from getting in.
Traditional Deer Park Fencing is increasingly being used to keep deer out or gardens and private property’s. The deer fence forms a secure and aesthetic way of solving the problem. Designed to form an obstruction for the deers the fences compromise between height and impact, encouraging the deer to take a diversion. As we have our own Fabrication Unit in Leicestershire we are able match any existing deer fence or gates that you may have on site and we can create gates that match the Deer Fence and allow the rails to continue flawlessly.

The deer fence was supplied loose by our Fabrication Unit in Leicestershire. The team primed the Rutland End posts and rails before they were sent directly to site. The 2 gates were handmade to the clients specifications. They chose the Quadrant design with a sliding latch to close the gate. Our gates provide a seamless look to your fence line. The Installation team fully weld the fence on site to ensure it will last for over 60 years. It was then painted black. At 1.8m high it will keep the deer out but we also added chicken wire to prevent the bunnies gaining access to their free breakfast. The chicken wire is attached to the fence and is dug 300m into the ground to stop them burying underneath.
