At The Traditional Company we are very proud to share with you our latest bespoke creation. An existing client got in touch with us as they wanted to have a point of interest/feature against the wall that was visible from inside the house.
We designed the water feature to have a gentle cascade that would give movement and reflective light. LED lights are going to be added by the client to enhance this when darkness falls. Which we can not wait to see once it’s installed.
Our Fabrication team in Leicestershire followed the design and used a brushed marine grade stainless sheet to create the feature. We used a specific pump that was the correct size to get the right flow rate of water. An auto top up was also integrated into the reservoir tank for minimum maintenance to cope with evaporation. Once built it was trialled before installation.
The header tank and cascade sheet are supported with a unistrut frame all fixed to the existing brickwork and hidden by the water feature. Adjustment for the header tank was vital so that the out flow would run evenly across the 3m opening.
The installation process was headed up by Martin and it went smoothly.
