The Southern team have been installing at this private Estate in Gloucestershire since 2021. In total we have installed just over 900m of our Highland Estate Fence, large Metal Gates and 18 handmade Metal Tree Guards. This was broken into three phases for installation.

The Entrance Gate.

We fitted our large cast iron Stamford Gate posts and Stamford gate onto the main drive of the property. The Stamford Gate is 1.5m tall and similar to our popular Diamond gate design. The large end posts are incredibly heavy and machinery is needed to lift and install them.  All of our gates can be automated if required.

David the owner and Charlie our Operations Director have both been to visit and conduct site visits between the installation phases. We are able to check the ground conditions, advise and collaborate with the owners to ensure they are getting what they would like.

Metal Tree Guards.

We installed 18 metal tree guards at this Estate. At The Traditional Company we design, manufacture and supply metal tree guards directly to your door. Our tree guards provide an architectural and decorative solution to stopping animals from interfering with the natural growth of the tree. We have our standard size which will easily fit most trees of all ages or we offer a bespoke tree guard service where we can manufacture to your exact guard size requirements. They are handmade at our Fabrication Unit based in Leicestershire.

Highland is our strongest estate railing, robustly built to withstand the most boisterous of livestock. A super solid fence, it has a thrust plate welded on every post. This plate is welded under the ground and reduces any lateral movement caused by the pressure of cattle and horses. The Highland Parkland Fence is supplied with heavier profile posts (40x10mm) and larger rails (25x8mm or 20mm round rails). in total we installed just over 900m here in Gloucestershire.

A note from David our Owner on why a site visit is imperative

Site visits are vital to ensure you get the very best fence for your location. A specialist estate fence installation team will be required to instal your parkland fence as they require welding and painting on-site. This will provide a solid, attractive and durable fence that will last for over 60 years.

A note from Charlie our Operations Director.

A site visit was requested before the second instalment began, I visited the Estate after the first phase was completed and myself and the Estate Manager had a look at the continuation of the fence line that would replace the existing timber fence. The installation team fed back on what a pleasure it was to work in such a beautiful location. We look forward to hopefully coming back again in the future.

Bespoke Vertical Screens for County Garden Management

We collaborated with County Garden Management to manufacture bespoke vertical screens for a garden project in Essex, designed to soften a large brick wall and enhance the overall space.
