In addition to the supply of 2m Fencing Panels The Traditional Company also manufactures and supplies Fencing for self installation.
Self Weld Estate Fence is a version of our popular Burghley, Chatsworth and Highland fences. These quality fences are dispatched loose, so come with the individual uprights (posts)and loose Rails. The uprights are driven into the ground (postcreted if necessary) with horizontal rails threaded through. Our self installation fence requires welding after installation.
Rails are supplied in 3m lengths as standard with palletline delivering using a triple pallet service or for larger orders in excess of 100m the rails can be supplied in 6m lengths with carriage by Lorry. These fences are the same as our teams of skilled fitters take to site and install day in day out.
Our Self Weld Traditional Estate Fences are very popular with Builders and property developers who have access to onsite skilled labour. This allows properties to still benefit from the classic look of our metal parkland fences however small the fenceline may be. It also provides greater flexibility on site and can be erected as a site progresses rather than wait until the site is finished. We can also supply gates, end posts and paints to create a really professional estate fence. We offer 1m and 1.2m high, 5 rail Estate Fencing as standard and can deliver within 7 days. Self weld Traditional Estate Fencing can come primed or be allowed to weather naturally.

Our boundary between next door and us was in a sorry state. There was an old rusty dangerous fence scattered all along and then patchworked together with wire and plastic… ivy overgrown and the lime trees in an overgrown sorry state…
But nooowwww we have such clean fresh line with beautiful estate fence, welded and painted on sight thanks to @thetraditionalco We absolutely love it!!
We now need to collect all the bricks, dead wood and leaves etc… rake it all over and seed to the line of the trees to get the grass back. We will then have the lime trees tidied up properly in the autumn once the birds have vacated… it for now it’s just perfect!!

As part of the wider restoration of this beautiful Norfolk country estate, we worked closely with Will Draper Garden Design to deliver a range of bespoke features, including Burghley Estate Fencing, Gates, Rose Arch Walkways, a Domed Structure and, completing the project, a large bespoke Arbour. Designed to complement the surrounding landscape.
Bespoke Steel Tree Seat: Designed Around Nature
A bespoke steel tree seat, designed around nature. When an existing customer approached The Traditional Company with a unique seating request, our team worked closely with her to create a backless tree seat tailored to the tree, the space and her vision.
Bespoke Vertical Screens for County Garden Management
We collaborated with County Garden Management to manufacture bespoke vertical screens for a garden project in Essex, designed to soften a large brick wall and enhance the overall space. Fabricated in-house at our Leicestershire facility, the screens were created from detailed technical drawings and will naturally develop a rich, weathered patina within a few months, blending seamlessly into the landscape.
